This casserole is a great way to use the zucchini that comes from your summer garden.? Plenty of cheese and tomato sauce flavor this dish.
Ingredients:
* 2 lbs fresh zucchini, sliced, skin on
* 1 jar tomato based pasta sauce
* 1 large yellow onion, large dice
* 1 lb fresh mozzarella
* 1 lb cubed American cheese
* Handful fresh basil, chopped
Directions:
Wash zucchini, and slice into 1/4 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish, add remaining ingredients, and mix slightly. Bake 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
