Natalie and Hero have been together for over four years. Although their relationship is not one that's without issues, they were able to get by.

For over a year, Natalie was sent to live with her grandparents in an island far from where Hero lives. When she eventually returned, she spent almost all of her time with Hero. Unfortunately, she got pregnant.

Because Hero had to save money for Natalie's pregnancy, he was forced to work in another country. Before he left, he requested his best friend, Dylan, to take care of Natalie while he's away. The good friend that Dylan is to Hero, he agreed.

Day by day, he did nothing but make sure that his best friend's girl is well taken care of. He ensures that she visits her doctor regularly. When Natalie missed Hero, it was Dylan who tells her that everything will be alright.

"He works in a faraway land because he loves you and your future son. That's how intense his love is for you!", Natalie frequently hears Dylan saying this.

One day, Hero received an email from Natalie:

Dear Hero,
 
While I understand that you need to work in Tokyo because of your love for me and our future son, I hope you'll understand that I need emotional support more than money. I know I may have pressured you into looking for a high-paying job. Perhaps, my raging hormones are largely to be blamed for that.

You may not understand this but I have to tell you what I need to say in an email because I don't want to see or hear you cry. It's been a very hard pregnancy. I'm not among the lucky women who have regular pregnancies. Because of this, I needed more emotional support. You are away. Because of that, I can't ask you for that kind of support. All this time, it has been Dylan who's by my side. To cut a long story short, yes, Dylan and I are in love.

Please don't blame him for this. He's merely doing what you've asked him to do for me.

I know that no words can ever make this any easier, but I guess this is goodbye. Thank you for everything. May you have a good life.
