From A to B's
Jacob and Kylie both had a passion for bacon, butter, and the Beach Boys. They called it the three B's and a day wouldn't be complete without those three. They were both chefs so it was natural for them to fall madly in love with each other since they both shared the same interests.
The first time they met was at a random grocery store. Sparks didn't fly on that fateful day. Pigs actually flied on that first day. Kylie was about to get the last few pieces of apples when a big and callused hand snatched them away. Kylie was naturally bad tempered so she immediately threw a sideward glance towards the perpetrator and prepared to say the worst curse words she could think of. However, the random apple snatcher had a face that didn't match his hands. It was smooth, boyish-looking, and very handsome. Of course, Kylie was taken aback. But when the apple snatcher smiled at her and said; "It's a good thing I got these. These would be great as pie filling", Kylie lost her temper and said that she was going to those apples and use them as pie filling, too, and that she was going to get those apples for herself.
They had a really loud bickering match that amused the other customers and irritated the store manager. But as fate would have it, later on that day, they meet again. Turns out that Kylie was celebrating her birthday, and since apples are her favorite fruit, she had an apple-themed birthday. Kylie's friend, Geena, invited Jacob over because Jacob was also a chef and Kylie made an oath that she will only date a guy who knew how to cook.
Of course, Jacob's jaw dropped when he saw who the birthday girl was. The first thing that he said was, "here are your apples." Geena smirked and walked away, leaving the two alone because she immediately noted a sexual tension between the two. The only response that Kylie was able to muster was a big and toothy smile.
"Good thing I wore this dress", she thought.
Up till now, they are still together. Their favorite dessert is apple pie, and truth be told, the red dress that Kylie wore on her birthday really helped Jacob to make the first move.
