If you want to do something really special for your man on your anniversary, think about all the things he likes to do. Consider his hobbies, his taste in music, his sports preferences and the cultural activities he may enjoy. But, don’t forget the reason you are married in the first place. His favorite part of that is you so you can also build anniversary ideas around his enjoyment of you. For gifts, don’t get him what you think he should want. Instead, get him what he really wants even if you have no interest in it. This is a great selfless act and one that will be appreciated.
For activities during your anniversary there are several ideas he would likely enjoy. Make sure you go out somewhere nice, perhaps to a restaurant you both enjoy or to a museum or sporting event where you can both enjoy the time together. When you go, though, make sure you look spectacular. Take extra time to prepare the way you look from your clothing to hair and makeup. Make sure he can’t keep his eyes off you all day. When it’s time to go home, surprise him with some new, sexy lingerie, especially if it is something you know he will enjoy but may not necessarily be your particular taste. It’s one day out of the year, you can afford to indulge him and he won’t soon forget it!
When you are looking for that special gift, don’t concentrate too much on something you have to do together. Instead, think about what items he’s mentioned he’d like to have but has never gotten around to getting himself. If you get him something completely unexpected he will appreciate the gesture. How about some tickets to a football game? Perhaps you can get him a collection of his favorite books, movies or CD’s. Does he need a new putter?
Anniversary ideas for him should be twofold: you should do something special together and get him something nice that is solely for his enjoyment. Start early in planning these things because you don’t want to wait until the last minute and be stuck for ideas. Your anniversary is a time to enjoy one another and show each other how much you love and appreciate your partner. So take your time to think of the best ways to do that where it will amaze and delight him.
