Dating Geeks and Nerds

Given today’s complex and diversified dating world, some may feel that they don’t have options. The general norm is to date the flashy guy with the smooth smile – the safer option. How about the guy in the corner always glued to his computer?  We (the team @ WithLuv) have created a list of reasons why the female population should not cut the often too quiet geeks and nerds out of the picture.

• Although geeks and nerds may be awkward – they are well-meaning, well 9 out of 10 times anyways.
• They are tech-savvy. Given this techno-driven world, wouldn’t it be great to have a boyfriend who knows all about these gibberish gadgets (e.g. new mobiles phones such as the iphones and HTC).
• Due to their neglected status, there are plenty to choose from. Like them tall and slender? Plenty of geeks/nerds who are. Like them smaller with more meat? Plenty of that too.
• They are smart. How can intelligence be a bad thing?
• They are very good at remembering things, not like the majority of the guys who have fish memories.
• Sex. Yep. Sex. Although none of the female team members at WithLuv admits to having sexual intimate with geek guys, they have heard. Nothing but good things. Rumour has it that a virgin wrote the Kama Sutra… all that time thinking about sex, imaging sex, dreaming about sex (they are male after all) coupled with a desire to make you happy? Use your imagination.
• They are relatively low-maintenance.  Most can be fuelled on Pizza, Twisters and Coke. No need for the fancy dancy dinners, so if you can’t cook – order a pizza (delivered of course).
• His friends aren’t jerks.
• They are rarely if ever possessive. They trust you, so you can be yourself around them.
• They’re usually very well educated. You won’t have to listen to them rambling on about their new modification for their car. Rather he’ll have loads of other interesting things to talk about. Politics, world events, World of Warcraft just to name a few.
• They actually care.
