My brother is in a same sex relationship and when I'm around them I still get bothered by it. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

My sister is gay and has been for as long as I can remember. My parents weren't accepting of it at all when they first found out about it and although they don't say much anymore, I'm still not convinced they have ever really fully accepted it. For me, it doesn't really bother me much at all unless the PDA is in full affect. It always seems like she feels the need to be all kissy huggy all the time and I have to admit that I'm not too excited to see that...

I'm sorry you get bothered by it. What about it bothers you? I know for some people it's a religious thing, but other people it just seems to bother them.

I don't have any negative feelings against gay relationships, though it seems to bother me a bit when I see lesbian couples. (I don't mind guys) I think if it's in your family though, eventually you will accept it because you love your brother. If you think about it, guess how hard it might be for him. How/when did he come out?
